BIRD WATCHING

Bird Watching

Explore the rich world of birds in West Bali National Park through our Bird Watching activities. The park is home to around 300 species of tropical birds, both migratory and endemic. Many of these are difficult to observe. From seed-eating species, insects to fish, everything can be found here both along monsoon habitats and coastal mangrove forests. We organized guided explorations to several birdwatching sites in the Park for a more immersive Bird Watching experience. Depending on the season and other weather factors, birdwatching location options include coastal mangrove forest areas and small rivers in Teluk Receive, Tegal Bunder near Starling rehabilitation center, and Cekik coastal area close to Taman headquarters. With Bird Watching, you will not only witness the beautiful colors and sounds of exotic birds, but also unearth the incredible biodiversity of West Bali National Park.
