Temple Tours

Welcome to a spiritual adventure with our Temple Tours! Three temples nestled between the mountains and the sea will take you to a mesmerizing experience. Pulaki Temple, as the main temple of Pemuteran, is adjacent to the hill and is home to a group of lively gray monkeys.

Crossing the road along the seafront, Pura Pabean is where local fishermen pray for a safe journey. This temple displays an unusual combination of Balinese and Chinese style decorations.

At the foot of Pura Pabean, right next to the sea, is the very simple and much older Segara Temple, decorated only by two piles of very old looking stones with a vague human shape.

Our adventure continues with Melanting Temple (Temple of Traders).

Melanting Temple, or Merchant Temple, is a place where traders and businessmen pray for good luck and success. With rich historical architecture, as well as a very special location, this temple is the best to visit. Founded in the 15th century, this temple is located on the slopes of Mount Pulaki, surrounded by tropical forests and local vineyards. During a visit to this temple, you can experience a deep spiritual experience and enjoy its natural tranquility without the noise usually associated with visits to other temples. Late afternoon (around 5pm) is usually the best time to visit.

Behind Melanting Temple, you will find Puncak Manik Temple. A small temple built around a holy spring, high on a hill. Even though you have to climb hundreds of steps, the top provides a stunning view.

Finally, the magnificent Kerta Kawat Temple stands at the foot of a hill. A place of pilgrimage for government or private officials who want to advance in their careers. Balinese belief states that praying at this temple will increase prosperity. The beautiful view from Kerta Kawat, with views of the blue ocean and powerful green mountains of the West Bali National Park, is truly stunning.
